3-Day Itinerary: The Best Trek Arjuno Welirang
Day 1 : Surabaya or Malang -Tretes (760 m) – Kokopan (1,650 m) – Lembah Kijang (2,530 m)
Pick up Surabaya at 05.30 and then transfer to Tretes Basecamp which takes about 1.5 hours drive. You will start walking from Tretes to Kokopan for 2,5-3 hours, to have lunch there. After a short break, you will start the hike to Lembah Kijang for 4 hours. Dinner and stay in tent in Lembah Kijang. Overnight : Tent
Day 2 : Lembah Kijang (2,530 m) – Summit of Arjuno (3,339 m) – Lembah Kijang (2,530 m) – Welirang Peak (3,150m) – Pondokan
You will have early breakfast at 02.00 am, and then depart to the summit. The walk will take about 4 hours until you reach the summit. You will have a beautiful view over Batu, Malang and Surabaya city from the top of Mt. Arjuno. Than we continue to going down and take a lunch at Lembah Kijang. After that, the last peak is Welirang Peak. You will walk around 2-3 hours. Than go back to pondok Sadelan for 1 hour stay overnight in tent. Overnight : Tent
Day 3 : Pondok Sadelan – Tretes – Surabaya or Malang
You will have breakfast at 06.00, before going down to Tretes. Lunch and then drop to Surabaya or Malang. End of service.
